My design influences are Shaker furniture and the Arts and Crafts Movement. I specialise in
solid pieces, combining good design and robust, functional construction.

I work in hardwoods such as oak, ash, beech and sycamore, as well as softwoods such as pine. I use carefully selected timber from sustainable sources and reclaimed timber.

I use the best of traditional and modern cabinet-making techniques, working with hand tools and hand-held power tools.

All my work is designed and tailor-made to your individual requirements – including initial concept, choice of wood and the choice of finish.

I enjoy the collaborative process of creating something which truly meets your needs and would welcome your ideas as well as offering my own. The end result is a unique piece of handmade furniture made to last and be enjoyed.
